Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected

We collect the following data: email address, display name, entered recipes, recipe photos, usage preferences.

2. Purpose of Processing

Data is used to provide the CookFolio service: recipe management, cross-device synchronization, AI import, subscription management.

3. Hosting and Subprocessors

Data is hosted by Google (Firebase / Google Cloud). AI processing is performed by Mistral (Pixtral) or Anthropic (Claude). Payment is managed by Stripe.

4. Data Retention

Data is retained as long as the account is active. Inactive accounts are deleted after 9 months (see Terms of Use). After deletion, data is erased within 30 days.

5. User Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure (account deletion)
• Right to data portability (JSON export of your data)
• Right to object to processing

6. Cookies

CookFolio only uses technical cookies necessary for the service to function (session, authentication). No advertising cookies are used.
